Did you know that Saint-Ignace-du-Lac was a dynamic village where 700 settlers lived who were deported to the 4 corners of Quebec because the village was flooded in 1931 for the construction of a water retention dam, which led to the creation of Lake Taureau. The old hill, the highest point of the village, is today an island where it is possible to observe several vestiges of this time. You will disembark directly on the beach to visit the island before returning to your starting point. Along the way, observe the surrounding wildlife, you might see the iconic bald eagle that nests near the lake. Animated cruise.
